I would encourage anyone who genuinely believes that the riot coverage was biased against black rioters to see what a statistician would have to say about that astoundingly inaccurate supposition:

The first step might be helping black children to be less aggressive particularly toward police officers who should be treated with respect. Black youth seems to believe (hope?)they are in America rather than the UK.

Until black men are able to help raise their children and parents teach their children to respect the police it seems inevitable that teenage single parent 'families' will continue to allow their children to roam the streets at 3:00 AM and then be shocked when he gets shot / shoots someone and say he was "a good boy" and a "promising footballer" to the media.

Take some responsibility like good honest taxpayers and your children will learn from you. Or you could get angry and blame everyone else but yourselves. Depends if you care about your children though i guess - may i also suggest having less :D.

The Person on here who has no name but simply speaks the truth . Coming from a white person living in the ghetto who hires staff to protect those white people who publish stories to print . I have to say I was reading your posts with such intent a clear half hour of my day is gone .

Its so true how the media makes the black men in particular look like thugs criminals where their white counterparts are portrayed as a little bit naughty ..

I was out in the riots with my security team ( a white female running a security firm mostly hiring incredible , intelligent , hard working . black men as opposed to their un educated , lazy white counterparts )I saw a mix of everything there wasn't one of any race or sex .

However their was a lack of one thing POLICE !

Please white people of Britain take a leaf of out someone with intelligence's book and grow a brain .

There were no riots there that week as the gangs are white.

The riots started in the black community of Tottenham over the FIRST fatal shooting of a black male by the MET in their history. 14 coppers have been killed by non white males in that period. It was black comunities rioting, simple as, targeting OTHER ethnic businesses. You have a chip on your shoulder guys, why you rioted. Dont forget 80% of Englands heroin passes through Tottenham and the police are only there to try and stop that.

Sorry, but if anything the media went out of their way to show whites. The reality is that the riots began due to a shooting by Operation Trident which deals with black crime. The initial riots were in response to that and spread to suburbs in London with large black populations.

Can someone please tell me why is it we can only see colour what does colour matter if you were looking into someone's eyes or seeing them for the first time are you looking at the colour of their eyes to assess them?????PLEASE......

For a tiny minority, there sure seems to contain a disproportionate amount of people willing to take lives. This is England - lest we forget - not Jamaica.

I don't think black men were unfairly targeted. The newspaper clearly showed photos of black and while males, as well as males and females.
There is no need to cover for black men who intentionally involved themselves in rioting and looting.
When there is a breakdown in the familt structure, there will be a breakdown in the community. When there is a breakdown in the community, there is a breakdown in the country. Where these rioters and looters are one race or the other, it is now societies problem to address.

Black people (Sons of Cush) should move out of the gheto and move to other surbubs or other parts of London or England. We can always gather if we want to gather we do not need to live in in ghetoes to show our strenght. I use to live in Tottenham but now I live in South Woodham Ferrers in Essex.

I'm tired of feeling ashamed of being black

So when a white man shoots dead 69 people do we say perhaps there's a problem with young white males? We could play black Vs white criminals all day. How about the white nail bomber (David Copeland) and former BNP member? A 23 month old child had a nail penetrate his skull and a pregnant woman was killed as a result of his actions. Perhaps you would prefer we talk about Ian Huntley? Better still. How about Raoul Moat? I could go on all day! You should stick to celebrating your white gangsters (Krays). At least black people don't celebrate their murderers and make movies detailing the number of innocent people they killed.

5 people murdered - all by black men, arson, assault, robbery, all major gangs in the country plus numerous black on black murders etc. stop the excuses and start facing the facts before race relations are reversed - there IS a problem with the socialisation of young black men.The evidence speaks for itself. Start taking responsibility and making changes.

This is a tactic Anthony France often uses - it should be remembered that The Sun's sister paper, The News of the World was recently exposed as paying for information from Police Officers before a case has gone to trial (it is illegal for Police Officers to do this as far as I am aware).

Most of the rioters were black men: so why is it unfair to report the truth?

Those people need to remember their history, black people are doing nothing to turn whites black, whites have been doing this from the beginning of time, it is in their blood.

The media and the advertisers have a lot to answer for, for too long no positive black on black family been show on British television, when was the last time you saw black drama, film staring a black man and black woman in the lead role, you see black and white.

It is like they have a secrete silent unspoken pack between them to keep black people down, make them want to be more like white and lose all their identity, which is know as divide and concur. That is what the Romans did to the English and enslaved them for 400 years; they in turn are doing the same to us. We need to unite, really unite, teach our children their history, English history, Roman history and Spanish history; they all interlink and are very interesting. It will give you an insight on why the English are so evil. Black people, do not allow this white race to make you feel like you are nothing, they have taken and learned so much from black people that is why they want to keep us down unity is our strength.

The BNP are definitly capitaliusing on the riots starting off in Tottenham, and refering to them all as Race Riots, and they even have the nerve to say the media is being racist for only shaming mainly white people!

Black men unfairly targeted - maybe. But what's new? We live in a racist world, which breeds a racist society, which trickles down into everything - government, media etc. Let's get over it! The fact remains, I saw too many black faces involved with the UK riots. Can we start doing something constructive to help our own community and stop criticising things that we can't do anything about. We need to instill family values, marriage, we need to omit this 'baby father / baby mother' rubbish and start believing in family. Also I'm not a church goer, but there is something to be said for having a faith to guide you through life. I've signed up to a mentoring programme and work with a community interest company that works with young people in Waltham Forest. I've also donated time, money and resources to those affected in Tottenham. If we all did something, things would improve - who's with me?

You know I think a lot of white people are reading enoch powell these days. What powell said was influenced by the race riots in the USA in the late 60s. He was worried that the UK would start to form Ghettoes where trouble could start-like those in the USA. Do you as voice readers think there was a grain of truth in what he said? Trouble seems to brew in the ghetto doesnt it!

I have seen a lot of this gangsta culture in the young. Its very negative but I dont think the community is strong on marriage or parenting skills. It needs some improvement. Where were the parents of that rioting 9 year old. Why didnt the parent of that girl accompany her to court? These children are out of control!
