‘Concern’ over missing long-term hospital patient

MISSING: Joseph Decklan

POLICE ARE appealing for information regarding the whereabouts and welfare of a long-term patient from King’s Cross Hospital in Denmark Hill, south London.

Joseph Decklan, 63, was reported as missing after he left the premises at roughly 11:00pm on December 27.

Decklan is described as dark skinned Afro-Caribbean, of medium build, with short grey afro hair and approx. 5’, 8” – 5’, 10” in height.

He was last seen wearing a grey tracksuit with a white t-shirt inside and white trainers.

"Mr Decklan requires continued specialist care due to medical conditions including Epilepsy,” said Dectective Inspector Shaun White.

“He also has to be fed through a tube, as it is to dangerous for him to consume anything in the conventional manner.

“We urge anyone who may have seen him to contact us immediately."

Decklan is known to frequent the areas of Southwark, Lambeth and Westminster.
