19-year-old Kylian Mbappe to donate World Cup fee to charity

GENEROUS: Kylian Mbappe is reportedly giving his entire World Cup fee away to charity

KYLIAN MBAPPE is donating all of his World Cup fee to charity, it has emerged.

It is understood that the total earnings amount to £17,000 per game, plus additional bonuses.

Mbappe, who has been not only a star of the French team but the 2018 World Cup as a whole, is a patron of the Preiers de Cordees association, a charitable organisation that engages children with disabilities with sporting activities.

It is reported that if France win the World Cup in Russia, Mbappe could receive an extra bonus of £265,000.

The 19-year-old, who scored twice against Argentina in France’s match last Saturday (June 30), is the first teenager to score at least twice in a World Cup match since Pele in Brazil’s match against Sweden in the 1958 final.

The £166 million player who has been tipped to go the top of the game is also the first teenager to score more than one goal at a World Cup since England’s Michael Owen did in 1998.

Mnappe became football’s most expensive teenager when he joined Paris Saint-Germain from Monaco last year.
