LONDONER Anozie is doing big things in the US and it is only a matter of time before he becomes a household name. Having starred in the 2011 remake of Conan The Barbarian, and in the hit US TV show Game of Thrones, global fame is just around the corner for the 32-year-old.

Arnold Oceng

ALSO known by his MC alias Snakeyman, Oceng has come a long way from his days as a child actor in the popular children’s show Grange Hill. As well as starring in three new Brit flicks in 2011, the multi talented youngster featured in the Channel 4 TV series Top Boy. Already filming another four films for 2012, Oceng shows no signs of slowing down.

Marlon Davis

DELVING into subjects usually considered taboo, Davis jokes about gun crime, as well as fatherhood and growing up in north west London. The 2009 winner of the FHM Stand-Up Hero competition, Davis performed at London’s Soho Theatre last year and is set to achieve further success this year. Get ready to laugh out loud.

PIONEERING businesswomen Jacqueline Barrett and Yonic Blackwood recently launched their new clothing label Urbanjunglewear. The Wolverhampton-based entrepreneurs created a unique range of all-in-one loungewear known as podjamas, designed to keep out the cold. With plans to expand into producing t-shirts and other garments, the duo is set for big things this year.

FILLING a gap in the market, Sadia Sisay created Being U; a range of flesh-toned underwear for black women of all shades. Undeterred by being told by several major retailers that there was no need for the underwear, Sisay went ahead and is looking to enjoy greater success in 2012.

BRITISH actor, writer and director Noel Clarke stars in this romantic comedy about a couple whose wedding day ceremony is disrupted by a series of unfortunate mess-ups, including missing bridesmaids, car crashes, and more. The Kidulthood and Adulthood writer co-wrote The Knot and also serves as a producer on the film.
