TRUTH?: 50 cent claims ray was drunk

RAPPER 50 Cent has dismissed rumours that singer Ray J punched fellow MC, Fabulous, in the face during an alleged fight at a Las Vegas hotel on Sunday (Sep 18).

In a recent interview with Hot 97 the Put It Down On Me hitmaker denied that Fabolous had been beaten up by the One Wish singer, as initially reported in the media.

As a witness to the argument between the two men, started at a party to celebrate boxer Floyd Mayweather's win against Victor Ortiz, 50 says that while he saw the singer swing for the 30-year-old rapper, he did not hit him.

It is believed that Ray J had attempted to punch the Brooklyn native after he made fun of his appearance in a recent documentary about Mayweather, who is good friends with the singer.

Fabolous tweeted: “Floyd saying we havin (sic) a concert in my living room & the camera cuts to Ray J singing 'One Wish' on the piano had me in tears!!”

Ray J then went on American radio show Hot 97 a day after the incident (Sept 19) to boast about hitting the MC.

Fabolous laughed off Ray J's version of events during an interview on radio station, Power 105, the next day (Sept 20) stating that "no swings" were thrown and that he actually grabbed the singer by his "little red hoody" before the incident was defused.

In a final blow to his nemesis, he added, "This is more a war on drugs than a war between Ray J and me. This ni**er is high, coked up, or on pills or something. I heard his rant and it is just hilarious to me!."

However, 50 has broken his silence claiming that the incident was not as dramatic as either party are claiming.

He said: "Ray J taps Fab on the shoulders and says 'I told you my peoples wasn't going to be happy about that'. And Fab is looking at him like hes crazy cause he looking at me, 'cause Fab was saying wassup to me. He said 'Whoa, you lost your mind?' "

"I think he [Ray J] had a little bit of juice [alcohol] in him. You know what I'm saying? I think Ray had a little something," he said.
