Afolabi vs Huck trilogy set for June

24 ROUNDS AND COUNTING: Afolabi (left) and Huck

FOR THE third time in four years one of Britain’s most unheralded fighters will challenge for world title honours against the same opponent.

London-born Ola Afolabi will take on Germany’s WBO cruiserweight champion Mario Huck in Berlin on June 8.

Based in America, the 33-year-old Afolabi drew with Huck on May 5, 2012 and lost to the 28-year-old on points in December 2009.

Since turning professional in 2002, Afolabi - who is of Nigerian heritage - has compiled a formidable record of 19 wins (nine K.Os) two losses and four draws while the hard-hitting Huck has 35 wins (25 K.Os) two defeats and one draw to his name.
