African Footballer of 2017 list revealed

SELECTED: Sadio Mane

THE CONFEDERATION Of African Football (CAF) has revealed the shortlist for African Player of the Year and Africa-Based Player of the Year.

Footballers featured on the list include Gabon’s Pierre-Emercik Aubameyang, alongside Senegal’s Sadio Mane and Egypt’s Essam El Hadary.

Meanwhile, 2016 winner Riyad Mahrez was missing from the main list.
