ALL THE FUN OF THE FAIR: Last year's AfroBeach was a hit

FOR THOSE looking for some excitement to stave off the back-to-work blues this September, or those hoping to squeeze as much fun as possible out of their summer off school, Magnum Opus Events have good news - AfroBeach is coming back to London's BeachEast on September 3.

BeachEast describes itself as:

"The UK’s biggest urban beach, bar & amusement park located in the heart of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford, London."

Asia Diaz, Director for Magnum Opus told The Voice:

"AfroBeach is an opportunity to celebrate and enjoy African and Caribbean culture in a beautiful setting, surrounded by fun and friends. Now in its second year at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, AfroBeach will be taking over the whole BeachEast Amusement Park site for one day only; offering roller coasters, bumper cars, authentic cuisine and music across 1,000 tonnes of sand opposite the Olympic Stadium!

"This event has grown into something very special with guests travelling from across the world to experience a little bit of the tropics in east London."

AfroBeach's BeachEast Takeover will happen on Sunday September 3, 2017 from 12 noon to 11pm at BeachEast Amusement Park, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford, London, E15 2DU.

Attendees must be 18 years of age or over. Government-issued ID will be required. Access to fairground rides are inclusive of the ticket price.
