ANGER: Azealia Banks brands popular female rapper 'racist'

FEMALE RAPPER Azealia Banks has accused Australian hip-hop artist Iggy Azalea of being racist.

The 212 hit-maker blasted music magazine XXL for putting Iggy on their famous 'freshman' cover, which predicts the 'hottest rappers' for 2012, because the 21-year-old once reffered to herself as a 'runaway slave master' in a song.

Speaking via her Twitter account, Azealia wrote: “Iggy Azalea on the XXL freshman list is all wrong. How can you endorse a white woman who called herself a 'runaway slave master'? [sic]."

In a seperate post she continued: “Sorry guys. But I'm pro black girl. I'm not anti white girl, but I'm also not here for any1 outside of my culture trying to trivialize very serious aspects of it. In any capacity. *kanye shrug* [sic].”

HOT WATER: Iggy Azalea once called herself a 'slave master'

In a freestyle titled D.R.U.G.S Iggy rapped: "When the beat comes on I'm a runaway slave...master!"

Although she has not denied saying the offensive lyrics, the rising star hit back at at the accusations, claiming Azealia is trying to get 'shine' by calling her out.

Iggy wrote on Twitter: “Too much talking, not enough music being made. Let’s do what we all came to do best -- make music. F*ck the gossip and yapping. It’s stupid. [sic].”
