Beyoncé's pregnancy sets no trend

EXPECTING: Singer Beyoncé has been praised for going the traditional route

WOMEN ARE less likely to follow in singer Beyoncé's footsteps by getting married before deciding to have children, according to our recent poll.

Despite Bey's worldwide appeal, 65 percent of those who voted in our online poll revealed that they weren't encouraged to follow the newly-pregnant star's traditional example of marriage before children in their own lives.

The 30-year-old Love On Top singer announced she was expecting her first child with hubby Jay-Z at the recent MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) and received a heap of praise online from fellow celebrities for following the traditional model.

Justin Dior Combs, the teenage son of rap mogul P Diddy, wrote on Twitter:

"Beyoncé dated, married THEN got pregnant... young ladies take notes."

The latest figures by the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) show that 45 percent of births in England and Wales still happen outside marriage.
