ANGER: Big Boi upset over Golliwog dolls
RAPPER BIG Boi, who recently blasted a store in New Zealand airport for selling "racist" dolls, had the offensive products removed from sale, it has been reported.
The Outkast star posted pictures of the toys on his Twitter page last Thursday (Aug 25) describing them as "golliwogs," a controversial series of dolls that depict black people in a racially offensive manner.
He wrote: “Ok, all blacks is a rugby team, but what the ****are these [SIC]”.

CONTROVERSIAL: Gollywog doll
In reaction to the Shutterbug rapper's outburst, newspaper The New Zealand Herald contacted Auckland's airport management, who then had the dolls removed.
Airport corporate relations manager, Richard Llewellyn said: "Once we were made aware, the retailer was immediately asked to remove the product from sale."
“In this case we acknowledge that this is a product widely regarded as inappropriate. We apologise for any offence caused as a result of this product being on sale at the airport,” he added.

I bought one in Blackpool.
And I am told that they are sold all over the UK at the seaside's.
Its a doll, its only racist
Its a doll, its only racist in your own eyes, I don't see them being racist at all and how are they discriminating? Since they all have bow ties, I guess in your mentality they´re discriminating bow tie wearers as well.
The UK is argubly terrible
The UK is argubly terrible also. It's very covert, which is much more dangerous.
America is not the only place
America is not the only place racism exists. New Zealand, Australia, South Africa are probably worse than the US.
BIG BOI
I don't believe for one moment that New Zealander's were unaware that selling golliwogs would cause offence, that is common sense. Good on you Big Boi, they heard you loud and clear!
