Big promotion for UK Christian music figure

JONATHAN BROWN, the former head of Integrity Music Europe has been promoted to president of the world’s largest Christian music label.

Brown, known as 'JB', has been in the music industry for 25 years, and began his career at Word Records in the UK be- fore taking roles with Furious Records and Fierce Distribution where he was part of the teams responsible for building and establishing global platforms for artists.

JB played a key role in signing Noel Robinson to the label. Meanwhile, platinum-selling singer/songwriter Lauren Evans will be among the guest speakers at this year’s second annual Music & Media Conference, hosted by aStepFWD, at Westminster University on September 23. The conference looks at today's music and media world and how it relates to the Christian/ gospel music scene.
