Birmingham’s Young Black Romance Author is the one to watch

AMOS PINNOCK, a 22-year-old Birmingham recent has just released the new book, Words From My Heart, a moving tale of love, heart ache and trials and tribulations.

“I have recently written this book because I believe it will have an impact on people's hearts,” said the young author. “Just because I’m a man doesn’t mean I don’t have emotions.”

Growing up as a young man in Birmingham, Pinnock believes he learnt through expiring different elements of relationships from the rough and smooth times, which manifested itself into this book.

“This book is literally me sharing words from my heart, and although it's very sentimental to me, the experiences are completely relatable,” he continues. “There is something for everyone at different stages of their life.


The book explores the journey we go through when experiencing life; detailing the needs, wants and wishes that are experienced when it comes to love and relationships, but written in the form of beautiful poetry.

“The main purpose of this book is to show people that romance isn't dead. That true love is real and it's not just in fairytales and movies but it's a real life thing.”

“It's to show women that chivalry still exists, and that there are guys out there who still go out of their way to open doors for them instead of trying to open up there legs.”
