ROYALTY: Bishop Eddie Long has been crowned king

BISHOP EDDIE Long has been crowned 'king' at his New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta, a new video shows.

The troubled pastor, who was accused of sexually assaulting five men in his congregation last year, received his new title from Rabbi Ralph Messer, a guest speaker at the church on Sunday.

"He's a king. God's blessed him. He's a humble man. But in him is kingship. In him is royalty. In him was a land of Israel," Rabbi Messer says as Long is raised high in a chair, carried by four men.

"He now is raised up from a commoner to a kingship," he added.

In December, Long, who heads one of America's most prominent mega churches, announced he was taking a leave of absence, following the damming allegations.

He returned to the pulpit last month having reportedly settled with his accusers for an undisclosed amount outside of court.

In the same month, Long's wife of 21 years, Vanessa, filed for divorce.
