Brilliant Hamilton storms home in German GP

DAREDEVIL: Lewis Hamilton

AFTER ANOTHER sensational drive Lewis Hamilton stormed to victory in the German Grand Prix.

Hamilton, the subject of so many adverse comments this season, let his driving do his talking at the world famous Nurburgring.

Hamilton came home in front of arch rival Fernando Alonso of Ferrari and Mark Webber of the dominant Red Bull outfit. World championship leader, Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull, could only manage fourth place.

But the race was all about Hamilton and his daredevil tactics, which are so pleasing on the eye when they come off.

“It was a great job, amazing,” said Hamilton on the team radio as he did his victory lap. "Great job guys, great job, that was amazing. If we keep pushing, this is the kind of result we can get. Thanks for pushing, guys."

Hamilton’s celebrations once he had got out of the McLaren cockpit were
exuberant to say the least.

After a tough season, which has now reached the half way mark, the Briton was keen to share his victory with his team and supporters.

Hamilton’s trademark driving, going for the gap, saw him usurp both Webber and Alonso when both rivals must have thought that there was no way through for the McLaren driver.

This was Hamilton’s 16th Grand Prix win as he attempts to overhaul the massive points gap held by Vettel.
