SHOCK: British police officer gunned down in Kenya

THE MET have said they are "saddened and shocked" to hear about the death of a Special Constable, who gunned down during a visit to Africa.

Officers confirmed that "popular member" of the Ealing Borough, Jamal Moghe, 26, was shot and killed in Kenya on Jan 12, but no further details surrounding his death have been released.

Ealing Borough Commander Andy Rowell said: “We were all shocked and saddened to hear of Jamal’s death.

“He was a popular member of the team at Ealing Borough, and he also chose to serve his community by volunteering as a Special.

“Our thoughts are with his wife and family at this time.”
