Chelsea target Alex Sandro offered new Juventus deal

ALEX SANDRO has been offered a new deal from Juventus, in a desperate bid to convince him not to join Chelsea.

The Brazilian left back is keen to move to Stamford Bridge after Chelsea promised to double his wages to around £150,000-a-week.

Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta admitted on Friday night (June 16) that they had rejected a bid of £52m from Chelsea.

Chelsea are expected to go back with a higher offer in the next few days, but Marotta said: "I don't know what he (Sandro) thinks about the interest. Players are masters of their own destinies. If Alex Sandro receives a salary offer which isn’t logical for us, then…”

Sandro has won two League and Cup Doubles with Juventus since joining from Porto for £22.7m in 2015 and impressed during their run to the Champions League Final this year.
