Come and meet The Voice team in Lambeth

INVITATION: The Voice is inviting readers in Lambeth and surrounding areas in south London to come out and air their views

THE VOICE is inviting readers in Lambeth and surrounding areas in south London to come out and air their views on issues most important to them on Saturday, February 25.

As part of the newspaper's Around Black Britain series, Voice reporters and other staff members are hosting a public meeting in Room 8, at Lambeth Town Hall in Brixton at 11.00 am, to give the community a chance to speak directly with the news team.

Members of the public, community groups and activists are encouraged to attend and share their stories, opinions, community event invitations and feedback about The Voice.

OPPORTUNITY

It will also be an opportunity for local organisations to promote their work among fellow residents.

The community conversations is one of several initiatives The Voice will launch this year to get closer to readers as it marks its 30th anniversary. Similar public meetings will be held across the country. The first community conversation took place in Lewisham, southeast London on January 21, 2012.
