Cynthia's mission to inspire

SPEAKER: Evangelist Cynthia Morrison

THIS SATURDAY (September 16) some 400 women from across the UK will gather at Bethel Convention Centre, West Bromwich for the annual Passion Place and Purpose women’s conference led by noted evangelist Cynthia Morrison.

Not only will people hear great teaching from speakers like Pastor Marjorie Esomowei, they’ll experience the additional treat of the premiere of drama production Take Me Back, written by comedienne, and playwright Angie Le Mar.

Evangelist Cynthia as she is known, is excited that Take Me Back is being staged at her conference.

She said: “When I commissioned Take Me Back by Angie Le Mar, I wanted to use a new medium to reach out to different types of women. When I spoke to Angie she got it straight away and knew exactly what to do. Take Me Back will features a series of stories that women can relate to."

“It charts the journeys of two young girls that started out in church and ended back in church, from brokenness to wholeness. It’s a story of redemption of restoration that no woman should miss.”

The Passion Place and Purpose Women’s conference was launched four years ago to provides teaching and information to enhance the role of women in the church.

Evangelist Cynthia, who’s a Housing Manager by profession, is keen for the conference to help women discover their purpose. And she’s a keen fan of women’s ministries.

She shared: “Women’s ministries help us to identify our place in the church, in society and how we can impact the next generation. The world is changing rapidly and the role of women is also changing rapidly.”

And her hopes for the conference? “We want women to leave the conference with tools and be equipped to handle the challenges there’ll face.”
