Dates set for England's women

ENGLAND HAVE been drawn alongside France, Russia and Spain in Group C of the UEFA Women’s European Finals 2013 in Sweden.

All of the Three Lions’ group matches will take place in Linköping in the south east of Sweden. Hope Powell’s side will kick off against Spain on July 12, before they take on Russia on July 15, rounding things off against France on July 18.

England manager Hope Powell said: "Whoever we got it was going to be tough and that has certainly proved the case. But if we go into this tournament with the right mindset, if we put in a lot of hard work, if we play how we know we can and if we relax and enjoy it then we have as good a chance as anybody else. We have nothing to fear."

Holders Germany have been pitted against the Netherlands, Iceland and traditional rivals Norway. Hosts Sweden will kick off the tournament on July 10 when they face Denmark in Gothenburg before facing Finland and Italy in Group A.
