Dementia sufferer, 72, missing from his Croydon care home

MISSING: Pensioner William Aggray

AN ELDERLY man with dementia has gone missing from his care home in south London.

Police in Croydon are appealing for the whereabouts of William Aggray who has not been seen since the early hours of this morning (Jul 13).

Aggray, 72, was last seen at his home address in Rosina Lodge, Augustine Avenue, Croydon at 05:00am.

He is a black male, around 5ft 5ins tall and of medium build.

Aggray was last seen wearing black trousers and a white shirt. It is believed he is wearing a blue anorak style coat.

Staff at the care home he resides at told police that a blue carrier bag and dark blue jacket are missing from his room.

Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare as he suffers from dementia and is in need of medication.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Missing Person Unit at Croydon on 020 8649 0145 or via 101.
