HEY MR DJ: North Londoner DJ EZ
UK GARAGE legend DJ EZ is taking on a mighty challenge to honour a worthy cause.
After many years of performing marathon sets to the masses, teetotal, non-smoker, DJ EZ has now set himself the ultimate test, while also helping raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The KISS FM DJ and UK garage ambassador will attempt to perform a non-stop 24-hour live streamed charity DJ set and give 100 per cent of donations raised straight to the well-known cancer charity.
From 6pm on Saturday February 27 through to Sunday February 28, music lovers can watch one of the worlds finest DJ’s on his mission to achieve the unheard of at DJEZ.COM.
“I have reached a point in my career where I would like to give something back to those less fortunate than myself. Cancer affects countless people around the world which is why I have chosen to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK,” The DJ said in a statement on his Facebook.
“My aim is to perform a 24-hour live streamed DJ set and would love you all to support me in making a difference to the lives of all those battling cancer by donating now.”
The DJ has been at the forefront of UK garage for the last twenty years, giving the genre exposure in it's '90s heyday, before being an integral and respected part of it's resurgence and influence in recent years. He has remained dedicated to his craft and holds one of the longest running radio residencies ever in the UK.
Fans can offer their invaluable support in helping DJ EZ to beat cancer sooner by making a donation on his JustGiving page.
