COOKERY AND lifestyle TV show Eat Well For Less is returning to TV screens and this time you could be the star.

BBC One are looking for families who are desperate reduce the cost of their weekly shop and try a range of new and healthy food options to add some excitement and variety to their daily meals.

"The last series was watched by over 5 million people and we managed to save our families thousands of pounds by making simple changes and challenging perspectives on value brands and packaging," producers said.

In the first two series of the programme, Masterchef’s Gregg Wallace and award-winning grocer Chris Bavin helped families and households to reduce their weekly food bill and cut waste through practical shopping advice and simple to follow recipes.

Through food swaps, taste tests and investigations, Gregg and Chris helped the Booths, Stantons and Warner families to shop around for a better deals and create meal plans to help reduce the amount of waste and save the families thousands of pounds per year.

Working with a dietitian, families can receive help with feeding their children healthily on a budget and tips on switching sugary snacks for healthier alternatives.

Whether you lack time to search for bargains, feel under pressure to buy household brands or need help shopping for a new diet or financial situation, the team from ‘Eat Well For Less’ can help families to save as they shop and learn some new cooking tips.
