Drake made £26.7m from world tours last year

RAPPER DRAKE made a cool £26.7million from world tours last year, it has been revealed.

The Thank Me Later star, who was last month named the second 'most-searched' Canadian celebrity on Google, made the top 20 of the highest earning world tours in 2012.

In March he headlined two sold-out concerts in London's sprawling O2 Arena and the annual Wireless Festival, to name a few.

The 24-year-old made it to No.19 on the list of the top 50 performers who raked in a total of £2billion from worldwide tours.

Madonna topped the list, owning a lot to her MDNA tour - the highest grossing show of 2012, which raked in £180million.

Bruce Springsteen had the second most successful tour, with £135million, while former Pink Floyd star Roger Waters' solo tour netted £120 million.

Drake's former lover, Rihanna, failed to make the list, but fellow Canadian native, teen heartthrob, Justin Bieber, came in at No.23, grossing £24.7million.
