FAVE: LeBron James and Drake
FOLLOWING A recent poll of NBA players, it has been revealed that the artist they most like singing along to is rapper Drake.
NBA superstars such as reigning MVP Steph Curry, Atlanta Hawks point guard Dennis Schroeder and three time All-Star Demar DeRozan all said they enjoy a sing-a-long to Drake’s hits, with Hotline Bling being a particular favourite.
It comes as no surprise perhaps that Drake is a favourite amongst the biggest names in the game given his close connections with the sport as a keen follower of the Toronto Raptors.
28% of NBA players said they enjoy singing along to Drake songs whilst in the car, with the second most popular artist being songs by the rapper, Future, who had 13% of the votes.
In third place was basketball fan and former Brooklyn Nets minority stakeholder, Jay-Z. 10% of current NBA players said that they most enjoy belting out Jay-Z hits including 99 Problems, American Dream and Moment of Clarity.
On Sunday (March 19) Drake released the much anticipated 'More Life,' a 22-track project which features Giggs, Skepta, Jorja Smith, Quavo, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Kanye West and more.
