Ealing killer gunman sentenced to 42 years

JAILED: Daniel Bidace Anthony

A GUNMAN found guilty of murder and attempted murder is to serve a 42-year jail term.

Daniel Bidace Anthony, 30, shot dead Dothan Gordon at his home in Ealing, west London.

Anthony then fired two rounds at Gordon’s partner, Amy Ashitey, who survived the attack despite one bullet piercing her lung and remaining in her body – the other shot missed her.

The court heard during the trial that Anthony executed Gordon with a shot to the head, and attempted to kill Ashitey while she lay in bed – she is wheelchair bound after she attempted suicide by jumping from a building, the court heard.

Anthony, of Earls Court, was sentenced at the Old Bailey, central London.

Gordon had been acting as the middleman in a £100,000 drugs deal, the court was told.

Ashitey was shot because the Anthony did not want her to reveal his identity.
