Enter the FDC Young Designer Awards

BRITAIN'S YOUNG fashion designers will get their moment in the spotlight on October 28 at the 2017 FDC Young Designer Awards.

Fashion Designers and Craft Makers Network will be hosting the ceremony at the Pullman Hotel, near Kings Cross.

Applications are now open for 9-25 year olds to enter the awards. Those shortlisted will be asked to produce an innovative garment and to pay homage to Alexander McQueen, which will require them to research his life as well as his work.

The winner will be offered the opportunity to debut a collection with the Fashion Designers and Craft Makers Network in New York City at the Angelman Syndrome Collections Showcase.

Joanna Marcella, founder of the FDC Young Designer Awards says:

“Our unique selling point is that our event recognises young multicultural design talent and catapults young fashion designers right on to the international fashion stage. The FDC Collections Showcase offers the promotion and exposure that emerging fashion talent need.”
