MISSING: Anieka Edwards

POLICE ARE “extremely concerned” about a missing teenage girl from east London.

Anieka Edwards, 14, from Hackney, was last seen on March 12 at about 9am in Walford Road, Stoke Newington.

The Met has launched a public appeal to help trace her.

She is described as black, 5ft tall and of stocky build and has both her ears pierced.

Anieka recently dyed her hair blonde. When last seen, she was wearing a distinctive brown and white patterned sleeveless top.

Detective sergeant Paul Ridley said: “Anieka has been missing for over two weeks. We are extremely concerned over her welfare and I would request that members of the public call us if she is seen so that she can be re-united with her family.

“She is believed to be using the public transport network.”

Anyone with information about Anieka's whereabouts should call Hackney CID on 101
