Family of Michael Jackson plan tribute concerts

MEMORIES: The Jackson brothers with Michael Jackson

THE FAMILY of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson are paying tributes to him in a special series of event this week.

The pop legend, who died three years ago yesterday [June 25], will be remembered in a string of concerts as brothers, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon Jackson continue their return to the stage as band, The Jacksons.

Jermaine, is expected to lead the tributes to his younger brother, said the group plans to pay tribute to Michael during their shows with a medley that will conclude with the tune Gone Too Soon.

The cause of death for the Thriller hit-maker was determined as of 'propofol intoxication', after the superstar suffered a respiratory arrest at his home on North Carolwood Drive in the Holmby Hills neighbourhood in Los Angeles.

On 3rd July, a collection of Jackson's costumes and memorabilia will go on sale at Bonhams entertainment memorabilia auction in London.

One of his black Savile Row jackets is valued at up to £12,000 and another jacket, a red, single-breasted outfit with black and gold diamante buttons, is also expected to raise an impressive £12,000.
