Fans blast Rihanna for using N-word to describe toddler

UNDER FIRE: Rihanna posted this picture of her with a child on her Instagram page

FANS OF Rihanna have blasted the singer for using the N-word to refer to a child.

The Bajan singer, currently vacationing in Miami, posted a picture of her holding the youngster on her Instagram account with the caption "My lil n****a".

Members of the star's Navy, a term used to describe her legions of fans, berated the Diamonds hit-maker for using the offensive word to describe the braided tot - thought to be a friend's child.

“Love me sum Ri Ri, but ‘Lil N***a tho?” Wrote fan Dawche on the picture-led social networking site.

Another added: “The word is derogatory. If some cultures aren’t allowed to say it. No-one should.”

Rihanna’s controversial post comes just 16 months after she blasted a Dutch fashion magazine for calling her a ‘n***er b***h’ in a fashion piece.

The 25-year-old, pictured in a skimpy gold bikini, is known for her colourful language as much as she is for her music, but it is believed to be the first time she has used the derogatory term to refer to a minor.

She did, however, show her more maternal side in another snap, softly holding the tot in the air with the caption, "Playin hard to get, but he loves me!”
