COMMUNITY: East London students help serve tradional African and Caribbean food

STUDENTS FROM Bishop Challoner Collegiate School in Tower Hamlets, east London, serve guests African and Caribbean food during a recently held Black History Month event.

Guests viewed students’ African inspired artwork and enjoyed performances. Speakers including Judge Tom Nicholson-Pratt, detective constable Yvonne Rhoden (representing the Met Black Police Association) and former pupil British athlete Perri Shakes-Drayton, encouraged students.

The youngsters also had a surprise visit from grime collective Roll Deep.
