Frank Ocean has driver’s license taken for speeding

LEGAL WOES: Frank Ocean

SINGER FRANK Ocean had his driver’s license confiscated by police in California for speeding and for being in possession of a small bag of cannabis on New Year’s Eve.

Real name Christopher Edwin Breaux, the 25-year-old was given a verbal warning for his speed, for driving with having tinted front windows and for driving with a suspended driver’s license.

Police say that Ocean was driving 90mph on a 65mph road.

A passenger in Ocean’s vehicle was allowed to drive the car away.

On December 30, Ocean – who has been nominated for six Grammy awards – was warned about speed by police after being stopped on the same road.

Following the incident Ocean posted a message on social network website Twitter that said: "hi guys, i smoke pot. ok guys, bye."
