Officials in the European country are allegedly seeking investment to help renovate the The German dictator's former fortress, dubbed the 'Wolf's Lair,' according to Reuters

The site, which is located in a forest and can only be accessed by dirt road, was used by Hitler and his Nazi soliders during the invasion of the Soviet Union in the early 1940s. It was also used as a location in Hollywood film Valkyrie, which was based on an assassination attempt made on the notorious leader's life on the compound.

Local forestry official, Zenon Piotrowicz told Reuters: "We are waiting for offers, but so far we have none."

"The requirements are quite high because we want a new leaseholder to invest a lot, particularly in a museum with an exhibition that could be open all year long."
