NEW SIGNING: Kylie Minogue signs to Jay-Z's Roc Nation label
KYLIE MINOGUE is the latest artist to sign with Jay-Z's ever-expanding Roc Nation record label.
The pop princess, who has had a successful career spanning 25 years, made the shock announcement via her Twitter page by posting a picture of herself blowing a kiss to the camera while wearing a top embellished with the company's logo.
The caption that accompanied the image read: "Kisses from my new home rocnation #KM2013ROC."
A statement was uploaded to Jay-Z's site, Life + Times, expressing how "excited" the label, which is partnered by Live Nation, are to have the 44-year-old on board.
The declaration began: "Roc Nation would like to welcome Aussie singer, recording artist, songwriter, actress and designer Kylie Minogue to the family.
"In a career now spanning 25 years, Kylie has released 11 studio albums, two live CDs, eight live concert DVDs, a greatest hits double album, and multiple video packages."
On a final note, the label added: "Needless to say, we’re excited to have Kylie join the Roc fam."
Artists currently signed to the Watch the Throne rapper's company include Rita Ora, J. Cole and Will Smith's daughter, Willow.
The label also has a management team which is responsible for the likes of Rihanna, Shakira, Mark Ronson, M.I.A. and rapper Wale.
