AT THE COUNTER: Levi Roots with KFC staff
LEVI ROOTS, the famous dragon slayer, rolled up his sleeves in KFC Marble Arch’s kitchen putting together the new Reggae Reggae Box Meal.
He chatted with the team, posed for photos with customers and even served behind the counter. The Dragons’ Den star wore one of his trademark brightly coloured suits which didn’t disappoint the fans.
Roots said: “I’m very proud to launch the KFC Reggae Reggae Box Meal – I mean, has it ever been known for two of the world’s most secret recipes to be combined? I don’t think so.
“I always sang in my Reggae Reggae song that the sauce goes perfectly with chicken so put some fire in your belly and give it a try!”
It’s five years since Roots ‘slayed the dragons’ on BBC’s Dragons’ Den receiving investment from dragon Peter Jones and Richard Farleigh. The father of seven still resides in his two bedroom flat in Brixton but his famous sauce is now available around the world.
The limited edition Reggae Reggae Box Meal is now available in stores across the UK until April 29.
