Lil' Kim 'facing lawsuit after skipping fan meet and greet'

LATE: Rapper Lil' Kim may be facing a lawsuit after arriving late to a nightclub

A GAY nightclub in Florida has hinted that it my sue rapper Lil' Kim for turning up late and skipping a planned meet and greet with fans.

The 40-year-old star was paid $23,000 (approx £14,300) for a short gig at The Manor nightclub on Saturday (Oct 4) that was supposed to include a VIP meet-and-greet, according to TMZ.

The nightclub however claimed that Lil' Kim showed up late and skipped the agreed the meet and greet with fans, which forced it to issue refunds.

The Manor also posted a copy of the artist's contract on its Facebook page on Sunday (Oct 5).

The document signed and dated in August showed that Lil' Kim had agreed to a 20-minute performance and a pre-show meet and greet for up to 100 people at midnight at the venue in exchange for $23,000.

The club in a posting along with the contract thanked its customers for joining in their fifth anniversary celebration and hinted at a lawsuit against Lil' Kim.

"Due to upcoming litigation, per our attorneys, we are unable to get into further details about last nights [sic] events," the posting said.

The Manor's attorney Howard King told TMZ that a lawsuit was planned and also noted that the rapper "got her comeuppance" as she was booed as she left the club.
