Man charged over pensioner's shop raid

BAILED: Pensioner Cecil Coley has been released on bail after being arrested on suspicion of murder

AN 18-YEAR-OLD has been charged following an incident in which a 30-year-old was fatally stabbed.

Kyle Mullings, of no fixed abode, has been charged with robbery on a florist shop owned by 72-year-old Cecil Coley.

It is alleged Mullings was one of two men who targeted the shop while Coley was playing dominoes with friends on the evening of Tuesday, July 26.

The other, Gary Mullings, suffered several stab wounds and died later in hospital.

Coley, who also suffered injuries, was arrested by police officers, but has been released on bail to return on September 9.

Mullings will appear at Trafford Magistrates Court today 9 (August 1).
