Man chased and stabbed near busy London underground station

AN 18-YEAR-OLD man was chased to a busy east London underground station before being stabbed, police have said.

The unnamed teen was walking down Leyton High Road last Tuesday (Feb 12) when two men jumped out of a gold or beige-coloured Citroen Picasso car and attacked him. A struggle ensued and the victim managed to run towards Leyton Underground Station where he was then stabbed from behind in his left thigh.

The suspects, described as two black men, were then seen to get back into the vehicle which then drove off in the direction of nearby Lea Bridge Road.

Police believe that one of the suspects is aged between 16 to 18 years old and approximately 5ft 8ins, while they say the second is 24-years-old.
