Man found not guilty of Boxing Day murder

A MAN has been cleared of the murder of 18-year-old Seydou Diarrassouba on Boxing Day last year.

Jermaine Joseph,23, of Tottenham, north London, was cleared of murder earlier today (Nov 22) after he was found not guilty, an Old Bailey spokesperson told the Voice.

Diarrassouba, of Mitcham south west London, was attacked on Oxford Street, one of Europe's busiest shopping streets, while enjoying the sales in sports store, Footlocker on December 26.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and a post mortem examination revealed the cause of death as a single stab wound to the heart.
