CONTROVERSIAL: Lawsuit settled in 'racist receipt' case
AN AFRICAN American man has reportedly settled his lawsuit against a restaurant that wrote 'racist' comments his receipts.
It is believed that businessman Mark McHenry came to an undisclosed agreement with Landmark Steakhouse's lawyers this week, a month ahead of the case being taken to court, reports Orange County Weekly.
McHenry had discovered the offensive comments written on his receipts by staff at the California-based restaurant and decided to legal taken action against the company last May.
One of shocking messages called McHenry, 'Mc Stinkyni**er' while another reffers to him as 'McNigsh*t.'

The restaurant's owner, Mario Marovic, who claims that the employee implicated in the incident was fired, has said that he was also 'upset' by the situation.
He told the Huffington Post: "It's not something we condone or foster in any way. It really upsets me."
"We would have resolved this situation immediately if he'd been aware of the allegations," he added.
