Miracle man Muamba celebrates second child

NEW BOY: Fabrice Muamba is happy to have a new life to care for

FORMER BOLTON Wanderers player Fabrice Muamba is celebrating the arrival of his second child with wife Shauna Muamba.

Miracle man Muamba, who suffered a cardiac arrest in March 2012, and wife Shauna welcomed their baby boy Matthew Josiah Muamba at 4.14am this morning weighing 7lbs 15oz.

The 25-year-old tweeted the news soon after their new arrival.

He said: “Today the 28th at 4.14am Matthew Josiah Muamba was born weighing 7lbs 15oz.

"Mother @ShaunaMuamba and baby are both doing well #stillstanding.”

Muamba's heart failed on the pitch during his side Bolton Wanderers' FA Cup match against Tottenham Hotspurs at White Heart Lane.

He was unconscious for 78 minutes with doctors frantically trying to resuscitate him.

Muamba has been actively involved in campaigning for schools to have defibrillators.
