Miss Reggae Gold competition returns

GOLDEN GIRLS: Previous Miss Reggae Gold contestants getting ready for a photo shoot

AFTER A 10-year break, the iconic reggae/dancehall label VP Records proudly present the return of their Miss Reggae Gold competition.

Reggae Gold album compilations have assisted many a party and playlist since the first release in 1993 and die-hard collectors will remember the models adorning the album art were all winners of the Miss Reggae Gold modelling competition.

On 2 August the Clapham Ground London will be the rebirth of the competition, uniting the Caribbean community and those who love as well as embrace the culture.

Past winner Nadine McCalla spoke about her experiences as a recipient of the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity:

"What an amazing experience that brought beautiful women and vibrant music together.

"Miss Reggae Gold gave me the opportunities to travel and learn two languages!"
