DETECTIVES ARE appealing for witnesses to come forward to help in a murder investigation of a man in south London.
Dwayne Simpson, 20, from Stockwell, was attacked and stabbed on Tuesday (Feb 25) in St John’s Crescent. He died from his injuries two days later in hospital.
Police arrested three 16-year-old males on the day of the attack, and they have all since been bailed to return for questioning in May pending inquiries.
The day after Simpson was stabbed, officers arrested an 18-year-old woman on suspicion of attempted murder. She has also been bailed.
Police believe the stabbing took place in Rossiter Grove and are appealing for anyone who was in that area at about 5pm on Feb 25 to provide information that could help the investigation.
