Must see black history event!

SPEND THE evening exploring subversion and style through the work of Black British creatives at the Victoria and Albert Museum later this month (Oct 21).

Discover paintings, take part in workshops and enjoy lively talks about resistance and protest in music, fashion and carnival.

Create your own protest poster echoing those made for Rock Against Racism and watch documentary screenings.

Hear more about Brixton Calling! and the Brixton Artists Collective Archive and the Staying Power partnership project between the V&A and the Black Cultural Archive.

Immerse yourself as guest DJs Femi Fem (Young Disciples/Colourful Radio), Don Letts (The Roxy) and Mistah Brown (Tighten Up club nights) play anthems from this period of progress towards equal rights.
