Mystery surrounds death of man who fell from plane

E-FIT: Do you know this man?

AN E-FIT has been made of the man who fell from the under carriage of an incoming flight to Heathrow airport.

On September 9 police found the remains of the unidentified man who they believe to be of African heritage and aged between 20 - 30 years old.

Police say that the deceased is 5ft 4 inches tall and of slight build. He was wearing jeans, a grey hoody and white trainers.

In a final bid to unravel what officers have called "the mystery around his identity” images of what he may have looked like in addition to a photograph of his tattoo have been made public, following failed enquiries into his background.

CLUES: His tattoo is a very distinctive emblem with the letters ' Z ' and 'G ' clearly visible

The man’s connection to Angola appear to be founded as currency from the African country were found in his possession and enquiries have established that a flight from Luanda, Angola was overhead prior to the body being found.

A post-mortem was held at Kingston Hospital Mortuary on 11 September and gave the cause of death as multiple injuries.

An Inquest has opened and adjourned at West London Coroners Court.
