The names of London Bridge attackers to be revealed

ATTACK: An attack across London Bridge and Borough took place on Saturday night (June 3)

POLICE INVESTIGATING Saturday night's (June 3) terror attack in London say they know the identity of the three attackers who killed seven people and injured 48.

The Met Police said their names would be released "as soon as operationally possible" as officers work to establish if they were part of a wider network.

PM Theresa May said victims included a "number of nationalities", saying it was "an attack on the free world".

It comes as police have searched more addresses in east London.

Police said 12 people had been detained in a series of raids in Newham and Barking, following the attack, in which three people rammed a van into pedestrians on London Bridge and went on a stabbing spree in nearby Borough Market.

The three men in Saturday's assault were shot dead by police, who said they were wearing suicide belts that turned out to be fakes.
