Naomi Campbell fights Ebola with charity pop-up shop

FASHION RELIEF: Supermodel Naomi Campbell

SUPERMODEL NAOMI Campbell is helping fight Ebola with a week-long pop-up shop at Westfield London.

Campbell, who is one of the most powerful people in the fashion industry, has put her influence towards a good cause by opening a Fashion For Relief Pop-Up Shop at Westfield shopping centre in west London.

“Raising awareness for Ebola and educating about its prevention is crucial to help prevent the spread of this deadly disease.

"We hope the Fashion For Relief store will raise much-needed funds and awareness, whilst offering amazing pieces at accessible prices," said Campbell.

Campbell, 44, celebrated the launch of the store last night (Nov 27), with celebrity pals including Idris Elba, Tinie Tempah and Rebecca Ferguson coming down to show their support.

The model has called upon the world’s influential designers, brands and celebrities to join her and donate items for purchase, with all funds raised to be donated to the DEC Ebola Crisis Appeal.

Designer products and accessories have been donated by Alexander McQueen, D&G and Givenchy and Jenny Packham, who has donated a gold sequinned worn by Dame Shirley Bassey.

Opening to the public today (Nov 28) and running until December 4 December, the pop-up will be based in The Village, as part of Westfield’s big shopping weekend encompassing Black Friday.
