Nate Dogg's estate sued for unpaid medical bills

CARETAKERS FOR the late rapper Nate Dogg are suing his estate, claiming that they are owed nearly $300,000 for medical expenses, say reports.

When the west coast artist, real name Nathaniel Dwayne Hale was placed at carehome CareMeridien, in California, after suffering a second stroke in 2008.

One of Nate’s managers, David Machery, allegedly promised to pay the star's medical bill, but the lawsuit states that no payments were made for Nate's two year stay at the facility.

Nate, who is most famed for his collaborations with his childhood friends and rappers Snoop Dogg and Warren G, died at age 41 from multiple stroke complications in March of last year.

The case continues.
