New York celebrates West Indian day parade

PARTY: West Indian day parade

NEW YORK City celebrated its vast Caribbean community on Monday (Sep 5) with their annual West Indian day parade.

Held on American Labor Day (the first Monday in September) in Brooklyn, the event reportedly attracts between one and three million participators every year.
