No joy for Team GB bobsleigh pairing

DYNAMIC DUO: Brad Hall and Joel Fearon

TEAM GB'S Brad Hall (pilot) and Joel Fearon finished 12th in the two-man bobsleigh competition at the Olympic Sliding Centre.

Fearon, 29, said of their participation in PeongChang, South Korea: "It was a bit of an anti-climax. We had an amazing day yesterday. I'm really proud of Brad, he's come a long way in a short amount of time."

The duo locked an overall time of 3:18.34 to finish 12th overall, 1.48 seconds off champions Justin Kripps and Alexander Kopacz of Canada. The result was a personal best two-man result for Hall and Fearon on the world stage.

On this weekend's four-man competition, Loughborough-born Fearon added: "We know we have got kit that can work, we know Brad likes it so it should be good. Today was a personal best for the two-man so if we can do that in the four-man that would be great. It's all building really well for the four-man. We're going to add a couple of extra horses to the sled and see what happens.
